QuantumSafe Interoperability Lab
Available

Test exact product, firmware, OS, middleware, application and relying-party combinations before rollout.

CUSTOMER PROBLEM

Test exact product, firmware, OS, middleware, application and relying-party combinations before rollout.

Interoperability depends on exact versions of product, firmware, provider, OS, application and profile. Generic support statements are not test evidence.

NAMED COMPONENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

What QuantumSafe Interoperability Lab contains and what each component does.

The descriptions below state concrete technical behaviour rather than generic support language.

01

Environment manifest and test plan

Freezes product, firmware, OS, CPU, runtime, middleware, application, algorithm profile and acceptance criteria before testing begins.

02

Cross-provider and cross-verifier testing

Tests producer and consumer combinations across providers, tokens, HSMs, signature formats, certificate paths and independent verifiers.

03

Positive, negative and rollback scenarios

Includes success, malformed input, unsupported algorithm, expired evidence, downgrade, rollback and recovery scenarios rather than happy-path tests only.

04

Signed/encrypted test corpus

Uses a signed or encrypted corpus with known expected results, immutable hashes and scripts that a customer can rerun.

05

Issue triage and exception register

Records every deviation with reproduction steps, severity, owner, workaround, fixed version and retest result.

06

Publication-ready compatibility report

Publishes only exact supported combinations and limitations; untested adjacent versions are not inferred to be compatible.

CUSTOMER OUTCOMES
  • Supported-version matrix
  • Signed sample corpus
  • Known-issue and exception register
INTEGRATION BOUNDARY

Customer applications, tokens/HSMs, providers, verifiers and test automation.

DEPLOYMENT PATTERNS

Customer test environment

The customer supplies the exact manifest and target artifacts; results remain scoped to that environment.

Joint assurance lab

Mobile-ID and product owners execute reproducible tests, triage findings and approve publication together.

Managed evidence service

Scheduled verification, benchmark, evidence refresh and reporting operate under defined retention and access policy.

EVIDENCE REQUIRED
  • Reproducible test plan, pass/fail evidence, environment manifest and remediation decisions.
  • Version and configuration manifest for: Customer applications, tokens/HSMs, providers, verifiers and test automation.
  • Negative, failure and recovery tests for “Triage issues with product owners” and “Publish supported combination or exception”.
  • Signed acceptance record, accountable owner, published limitations and next review date.
STANDARDS & PROFILES
  • Versioned interoperability testing
  • Reproducible environment manifests
  • Test corpus governance
  • Release acceptance
